Organic cotton is naturally grown, without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers, and is free from GMOs (genetically modified organisms). It is harvested and produced to benefit the environment, creating biodiversity, and promoting good health and quality of life for farmers and their communities.

The GOTS certification is the most respected and rigorous, ensuring product traceability from the field to the end customer. It includes transaction certificates at each production stage, covering not only raw materials and production but also labor rights, health and well-being of everyone in the supply chain, water treatment, and chemical use.

 

Printing Method: DTG

DTG printing, also known as direct-to-garment printing, offers significant environmental benefits compared to other printing processes. It is a digital printing process that allows direct printing on fabrics, using water-based biodegradable ink, free of plastics such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) that contains hazardous chemical additives considered toxic and may evaporate into the air over time. It does not require the use of plates or other disposable printing materials typically used in other printing methods, contributing to the reduction of product waste. In terms of energy efficiency, the DTG method performs well, as there is no need to preheat inks as in other methods, consuming less energy during the production process. It's worth noting that the quality and durability of the print are also considered high, ensuring greater resistance and longevity of the pieces.
